The executive office and museum for sports brand, Xtep, is located in Xiamen, China.
The lobby covers a large volume and aims to reflect the sports brand itself. A composite paneled wall finish stands against marble flooring and column finishes, whilst a solid surface reception desk appears in organic form. Dynamic cove lighting covers the ceiling and water features and reflection pools play with light beautifully. Come nighttime, the lobby becomes a theatrical space with dynamic lighting effects.
On the 18th floor, a reception area presents a clean and simple aesthetic. Black and white solid surface materials are utilised with a Corian open staircase connecting to the floor above.
Executive parties are entertained with virtual gold on the rooftop, which also showcases warm, curved wall finishes with the brand logo. A long high table has been built as a feature piece, crafted from white corian. A separate golf area appears behind a glass partition, alongside a central dance floor and DJ station and custom made furniture throughout.
For the museum, a running track circulates the space. Visitors are taken through a journey of the company; the brand’s history is showcased on digital screens. The fun and exciting interactive interior allows one to learn more about the company and their impact on Chinese sports culture.
Lastly, executive offices are slick and modern with sleek glass partitioning. Warm tones are employed throughout, juxtaposing hard lines and the colour black.
